Tech house artist and DJ Jason Kushy has released his new EP, Side Effects, out November 6, 2026, through OMNIX Records under exclusive license to Universal Music Ltda.
Listen to Side Effects on Spotify.
The two-track EP features “No Distractions” and “Veneno,” offering a fresh look at Kushy’s club-focused sound. Combining energetic grooves, melodic accessibility and a DJ’s understanding of the dance floor, the release continues his focus on creating music that connects directly with audiences.
The EP follows Keep It Moving, Kushy’s previous release on Direct Action Records, which reached No. 18 on Beatport’s Tech House Top 100 Releases chart. It also arrives during a strong period of growth for the artist, whose original catalog began in 2025 and has since surpassed one million Spotify streams. Kushy currently reaches more than 120,000 monthly listeners and connected with over 450,000 unique listeners during the past 12 months.
Raised in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley and now based in Monterey, California, Kushy began teaching himself to DJ at approximately 11 years old using an $80 mixer in his parents’ basement. By eighth grade, he had started his own DJ business. His early performances at weddings, proms and parties helped him develop the ability to read a room and adapt to different audiences.
That experience remains central to Kushy’s work as a performer and producer. His music has received support from Louis The Child, SIDEPIECE, Jauz, Wolfgang Gartner, Bingo Players and San Holo, along with repost support from Dim Mak, Insomniac Records, Barong Family and Space Yacht.
His catalog includes “Gave It My All,” “I’m Okay” and “Close the Door,” as well as remixes of tracks by Fleetwood Mac, Pet Shop Boys, Hall & Oates, Natasha Bedingfield and Sean Paul.
Through Stay Kushy, he combines original music, minimalist artwork, exclusive live edits and custom visuals influenced by games, animation and pop culture.
